Lucy trained at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London. She has a degree in Biochemistry with Chemistry and is also a trained cook. Lucy’s recommendations are evidence based and underpinned by scientific research. However, not everything can be studied in a clinical trial, which is where Lucy’s clinical and life/personal experiences are used to back up recommendations.
Lucy is passionate about encouraging people to prepare and cook real food to create healthy meals. Lucy works primarily with specific and personalised dietary changes, but it is often beneficial to use nutritional supplements and lifestyle suggestions. Lucy is registered with BANT (British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) and so is bound by a strict code of ethics and conduct. Lucy has just completed two years of additional training at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition and regularly attends seminars to enhance and keep her knowledge up to date.
